Joana I. Robalo 

I'm a Full Professor at Ispa - Instituto de Ciências Psicológicas, Sociais e da Vida and a researcher at MARE/ARNET.  At Ispa I am the  Director of the Biosciences School and of the Biology Degree and I teach several courses in the Biology and Psychology Degrees and also in the Marine Biology and Conservation Master's course. I also coordinate the Evolutionary Genetics Lab.

At MARE, I am Vice-Director and a member of the board.

My main research interest is focused on the use of molecular tools to address questions related to Evolution, Biodiversity, and Conservation (e.g., cryptic species, stock delimitation, and fisheries management).
